This is our second time staying at the house. It is beautiful, immaculate and has amazing views. We love the access to the walk to the lighthouse. The property managers are kind and helpful. I highly recommend.

Gorgeous, luxurious, everything needed & more right at your fingertips... It's a perfect place for a family gathering & some alone-time, all in one. Elizabeth & Bart were both gracious and warm, & the entire experience was more than we could have expected. Heartfelt thanks to everyone who conspired to make this trip a family memory!

This was our 2nd trip to this location. This beautiful home sits on the edge of the coast with breath taking views. It provides privacy and a relaxing atmosphere.

We went to Mendocino to elope and wanted a nice place to stay with just a few close friends and family. This place could not have been more perfect! Elizabeth greeted us warmly upon arrival and made sure that our every need was taken care of. She helped us coordinate the caterer for our wedding dinner at the house and put together a beautiful floral arrangement for the table. Our party of 7 guests had more than enough space an amenities to spread out and enjoy. The gardens are just breathtaking, and provide even more space for enjoyment. Amazing views from the two outdoor decks are the icing on the cake. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone, and in fact we are planning our return for our one year anniversary!

Nothing can prepare you for the incredible adventure this home offers. It’s a design and architectural wonder filled with amazing art. Great views. Great house manager who brought us baked goodies to welcome us and was available for whatever we needed without in any way being intrusive. An unforgettable experience.

Our party of 8 stayed at the place for 4 days, and it was truly one of the most amazing experiences! House is an experience, the views, the ambiance, the atmosphere. We enjoyed it so so so much! We are certainly coming back soon! Elizabeth was so kind, she left us a homemade welcome snack, and on the last morning, she picked us up warm bagels! This was such a beautiful touch! Spectacular home in a strikingly beautiful setting. Every detail was attended to and the property manager, Elizabeth was incredibly warm and welcoming. The home is meticulously clean. The lay out provides guests with plenty of privacy. No matter the weather - rain or shine - the views of the coast, the exquisite garden and wildlife captivate. We cooked every meal in the well-equipped chef’s kitchen which has space for multiple chefs to prepare a meal together. “Chateau Frolic” exceeded our expectations! We will be back in 2022! This is truly a gem of a house boasting the most breathtaking ocean views and every creature comfort one might desire. We spent 5 nights here during our son's wedding festivities and could not have found a more beautiful, relaxing or perfect spot. Elizabeth and her team were on top of every detail - from arrival/check-in to impeccably following up on any small problems that arose. We very much hope to have the opportunity to stay here again in the future. It's an incredible home and destination. We loved it.

WOW! This really exceeded all expectations. From listening to the barking seals and ocean waves at night to spending time relaxing in the garden and soaking in the Japanese tub to the thoughtful treats and flowers, we couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing and pampered trip. The furnishings, art, books, gardens, and kitchen were absolutely amazing. You could spend hours exploring without leaving the property!
