Mauna Kea Beach Hotel Renovation
The Mauna Kea Beach Hotel is undergoing a $180 million renovation, temporarily closing the Main Tower, lobby, marketplace, and shops along the Koi Ponds. The Mauna Kea Golf Course will reopen in early December. Residential Guests still have access to the main parking lot, beach, pool, fitness center, and select restaurants, along with amenities at The Westin Hapuna Beach Resort & Golf Course.

Keep an eye out for the whale migration between November and April and swim with the manta rays year-round.
Summit the snow-capped peaks of Hawaii’s highest volcanoes, Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa. Mauna Kea has some of the best stargazing in the world and is home to the world's largest observatory for optical, infrared, and submillimeter astronomy.
International travelers can access the property by flying into Kona International Airport (KOA) in the west, which is closest to the property, or connect via Honolulu international airport (HNL) on Oahu and take a 35 to 40 minute flight to the island. Private airport transfers can be arranged to deliver you straight to paradise.
